Shipping policy
Renting a garment can be challenging for busy individuals! We've crafted various shipping and pickup options to accommodate all schedules.
Order timeframe:
Orders must be placed at least 2-3 days before your rental date to ensure timely delivery, with extra time needed for rural deliveries. For same-day shipping potential, orders must be placed before 4:00pm, although this is not guaranteed. It's advisable to order earlier for better chances.
Shipping cutoff time:
Our shipping cutoff is 4.00 pm on Wednesday; any orders placed after this time can still be sent, at the customer's risk. If an order fails to reach you in time for an event, no refunds will be issued.
We post garments Monday to Friday - our courier arrives at 4:30pm. (All parcels whether picked up in the morning or afternoon are transported in the same load - we find it most efficient to have one pick up time at 4:30pm for orders that come in during the day) Post offices operate Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturdays, with shipping services available only on weekdays.
For morning delivery on the day of your event, please select the date as the night before. This way, your garment can be sent an extra day early as a precaution against any courier delays, as delivery can occur between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
All garments are dispatched via overnight courier through New Zealand Post. Tracking emails are automatically generated when the courier collects the parcel. Please note that delays are beyond our control.
Shipping costs:
Return shipping at $14.50: If you reside outside Dunedin and can't pick up your garment, this option is available. We send your garment via overnight courier with a pre-addressed return bag for convenient return.
Saturday Delivery at $19.50: Ideal for last-minute rentals booked between 4:00pm Thursday and 4:00pm Friday. If booking past 4:00pm on a Thursday and requiring delivery within the same week, this option must be selected. These garments are sent at your own risk.
Rural Delivery at $19.50: Essential for rural residents; failure to select this option may result in non-delivery. Opting for regular shipping and necessitating a rural upgrade may delay garment shipping by one working day.
Delivery at $10: If you're unable to pick up your garment, we can deliver and collect within the Dunedin city area. Contact us to confirm if your area is covered.
Pickup FREE: The best choice for Dunedin locals; pick up your garment 1-2 days before your event and return it the next working day. Weekend orders are organised for Thursday morning and you will receive an email when it is available. Earlier pick up times can be organised if needed.
Lost/damaged prepaid return bag:
If you return a garment without our provided bag, upgrading to courier service is mandatory to avoid late fees.
Dispatch of your order:
All garments are dispatched via overnight courier, with parcels sent at least two days before your selected date - unless contact has been made in regards to a parcel being delayed back to us/other unforeseen circumstances. If you require earlier delivery, please specify in your order notes.
Parcel delays:
Shipping delays may occur occasionally. Once posted, the fate of the parcel is beyond our control. If you notice a delay, contact NZ Post promptly for assistance. Note that requests for redelivery/redirection via NZ Post accounts may prolong the process by one working day.
Strictly no refunds are granted for courier-related issues. Store credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Requests for redirection that result in order delays will not warrant refunds or credit.
Lost parcels:
If a parcel is marked as delivered but hasn't reached your address, no refund or credit will be issued until New Zealand Post completes its investigation to locate the missing parcel.
