Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions before renting any garment from Love it Loan it.
By engaging in the rental of any garment through Love it Loan it, you automatically consent to and are bound by these Terms and Conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Returns:
The rental period is as agreed upon between the customer and Love it Loan it. Failure to return items on time will result in additional fees.
If the garment is not returned following our return rules a late fee of $20.00 will be charged per day. The return date for your rental is the date entered and agreed upon when placing your order. You must be prepared to return your garment on your chosen day - this applies to shipped orders, local orders, and postal try-ons.
If the garment has not been returned within 3 working days after the booking period, an additional 100% of the rental fee will be charged.
If the garment is not returned at all, you will be charged 100% of the retail value, along with any confirmed future bookings that need to be cancelled due to the garment not being returned, to cover the cost of replacement and lost revenue. This applies to take-home try-ons and postal try-ons. The replacement fee will be determined by Love it Loan it.
Your responsibilities:
Upon receiving the item, you are responsible for its safekeeping. By renting a garment through Love it Loan it, you agree to handle the items with care to avoid unnecessary damage. You will be held liable for any loss, destruction, or damage to the goods, including theft, fire, major stains, rips, disappearance, or any other incidents rendering the product unusable, based on our rental standards. Normal wear and tear are exempt.
You are also accountable for ensuring the garment's return. If the garment is entrusted to a parent, sibling, or friend who fails to return it correctly, you will be subject to late fees or the cost of any cancelled orders. For postal orders not returned in our supplied bags, they must be upgraded to an overnight shipping service, or a late fee of $20 per day/the cost of any cancelled orders will apply.
Ownership:
Love it Loan it Limited retains legal ownership of the garment at all times - Including written off garments.
Damages:
Any damages to the garment will be charged to the customer responsible, with fees varying depending on severity/material/garment type. Repair fees are set by Love It Loan It in consultation with our tailors and are subject to change.
If the returned garment exhibits damage beyond normal wear and tear, you authorize Love it Loan it Limited to charge your credit card 100% of the product's original value. This includes damage occurring during try-on appointments and take-home try-ons. The damaged garment must be returned to us for assessment. This is at Love it Loan it Limited's discretion.
If the customer attempts to clean the garment themselves incorrectly, resulting in damage, a charge of $25.00 will be applied. This is at Love it Loan it’s discretion.
Incorrect sizing/change of mind:
Once Love it Loan it dispatches or the garment is picked up, no refunds will be given for the rental, including for incorrect sizing or change of mind. We ensure garments are dispatched early for postal rentals, but we cannot refund orders if the garment fails to arrive due to courier issues, including change of address or redirection requests.
Love it Loan it is not responsible for errors in style, size, pattern, or colour selection. Amendments can be made if you contact us within 24 hours of booking, but we cannot guarantee changes.
Loss/damage of pre-paid postage bag:
If you lose or damage your pre-paid postage bag, you must send the garment back via New Zealand post using overnight courier to our return address: 8 Culloden Street, Kaikorai, Dunedin, 9010.
Repairs/requests/alterations:
Any requested repairs/alterations must be approved by Love It Loan It before alteration and must be completed by a professional seamstress, with proof provided. Unauthorized alterations may result in payment for damaged and/or replacement garments.
Unused garments:
Unused garments after the rental period are non-refundable.
Our responsibilities:
Once your order is confirmed, we guarantee delivery of the correct garment in the agreed style, size, pattern, and colour to the provided address on the specified date. Any known faults will be listed on the product page. If the garment is not up to standard (e.g. any faults not listed), contact Love it Loan it within 24 hours of receiving the garment. Any issues reported after this period will be deemed the customer's responsibility. Incorrect orders must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Costs/duration:
By agreeing to this contract, you agree to wear the garment during your rental period. The garment is for single use and cannot be worn by multiple individuals or at multiple events within one rental period. If multiple wears are detected, the rental fee will be charged to the original customer.
Rental fees are as listed on the website at the time of order submission. By submitting your order, you authorise us to charge your credit card/choice of payment immediately for the rental fee.
Cancellation:
For rental cancellations, contact Love it Loan it directly. Refunds may be issued at our discretion if cancellation is made at least 1 week prior to the rental period; otherwise, the full rental fee will be charged. Payment must be made immediately for upcoming rentals; failure to do so within 24 hours of the agreed rental period will result in automatic default.
Legal:
Love it Loan it Limited reserves the right to take all necessary steps, including legal action and/or third-party collection agencies, to collect outstanding amounts due under this rental agreement. All debt collection fees will be at your expense. We prefer not to resort to such measures, so please avoid such situations.
